A compact little booklet that presents the well-known 20th century artist Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis, his work and time, and what inspired the concepts behind much of his work. Čiurlionis is a brilliant example of Eastern and Central Europe’s Early Modernism period, and painter with influences from Symbolism. He was characterized by a rare creative mix – he was a professional composer and artist. In spreading his ideas of art synthesis in his work, he created a unique world of visions and lyrical fantasies.
